Marina Yap is a queer Filipino-Canadian filmmaker, actor, and writer from Toronto, Canada. Officially joining the team in 2020, she has worked on many Gooshlems projects as a director, screenwriter, cinematographer, and actor. Her passion for film and representation of marginalized communities in media is what drives her towards creating new, inspiring projects. Marina hopes to create more fantastical, compelling stories in the future that reflect her artistic voice and love of emotionally driven storytelling.
